Vesper is operated by Vesper, a sole proprietorship operated by Ohk Jeonghye in the Republic of Korea. Customer support is available by email at support@vesperstar.app. Phone support is not offered.

2. Scope of the English Service
These Terms apply to the English version of Vesper, including natal chart features, transit calendars, saved notes, Ask Stars, push notifications, Vesper Plus, paid Ask Stars credits, and related digital content. The English Service is provided globally for users who choose to access the Service in English. If mandatory consumer, privacy, subscription, digital content, or app marketplace rules apply where you live, those rights apply in addition to these Terms and prevail where required by law.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Vesper, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. If you are under 18, you are strictly prohibited from using the Service, purchasing paid products, or providing any personal data to Vesper.
3. Agreement to these Terms
By creating an account, using Vesper, or purchasing a paid product, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
4. Astrology and wellness disclaimer
Vesper provides astrology-based digital content for entertainment, informational, self-reflection, and personal journaling purposes only. Vesper is not a medical, mental health, legal, financial, tax, investment, emergency, or professional advisory service.
IMPORTANT: VESPER IS PROVIDED FOR ENTERTAINMENT, INFORMATIONAL, SELF-REFLECTION, AND PERSONAL JOURNALING PURPOSES ONLY. IT IS NOT MEDICAL, LEGAL, FINANCIAL, MENTAL HEALTH, OR OTHER PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.
Do not use Vesper as a substitute for professional judgment, therapy, medical care, emergency assistance, legal advice, financial planning, investment decisions, or safety decisions. If you may harm yourself or another person, or if you have a medical, mental health, safety, legal, or financial emergency, contact qualified professionals or local emergency services immediately.
5. Ask Stars and AI-generated content
Ask Stars provides short astrology mini readings based on your question and chart context. Ask Stars uses AI systems operated by Vesper and paid AI service provider(s). AI responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unexpectedly phrased. They are not reviewed by a licensed professional before delivery.
Do not submit sensitive information that is not needed for an astrology reading. Do not ask Ask Stars to decide medical, legal, financial, investment, employment, housing, relationship safety, self-harm, emergency, or other high-stakes matters for you.
6. Accounts and chart information
You are responsible for keeping your login method secure and for providing accurate birth data if you want personalized chart features. Birth date, birth time, birth place, timezone, chart data, transit data, questions, and notes may be used to personalize the Service as described in the Privacy Policy.
By submitting questions, notes, or other content to Vesper, you grant Vesper a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display that content solely to provide, operate, personalize, secure, and support the Service.
You may not create accounts using false information, another person's information without permission, automated methods, or any method intended to bypass Vesper's access, payment, or safety controls.
7. Paid products and payment channels
English paid products are currently offered through Google Play Billing. Vesper does not operate an English web checkout unless a Vesper purchase screen explicitly says so. If Vesper later supports another app marketplace, web checkout, or payment provider, the purchase screen and that provider's confirmation flow will identify the provider and any applicable terms. Vesper does not collect your full card number or other complete payment method details when payment is processed by an app marketplace or payment provider.
Free trials, introductory offers, discounts, and promotional prices apply only when they are shown before purchase. The Vesper purchase screen and applicable store or payment confirmation flow will explain the offer period, price after the offer, billing period, automatic renewal terms, and how to cancel before being charged. If no trial or promotion is shown before purchase, the paid product starts under the price and billing terms shown at checkout.
8. Subscriptions
Vesper Plus subscriptions may renew automatically according to the billing period shown before purchase. You can cancel renewal through the app marketplace or payment provider where you purchased the subscription; for Google Play purchases, use Google Play subscription management. Cancellation stops future renewal charges, but you generally keep access until the end of the current paid billing period unless the applicable store policy, payment provider, or applicable law provides otherwise.
Uninstalling or deleting the Vesper app from your device does not cancel your subscription. For Google Play purchases, you must cancel through Google Play subscription management before the next billing cycle if you want to stop future renewal charges.
Deleting your Vesper account does not automatically cancel a Google Play, another app marketplace, or payment provider subscription and does not automatically request a refund. If you want to stop subscription renewal, you must cancel through the store or payment provider where you purchased it. If you want a refund, you must request it through that store or payment provider, or contact Vesper support as described in the Refund and Subscription Cancellation Policy.
9. Ask Stars credits
Ask Stars credits are limited digital access rights that allow you to request chart-based mini readings. They are not cash, stored value, gift cards, deposits, electronic money, or a general payment method. They cannot be transferred, resold, exchanged for cash, or used outside Vesper.
Credits included with Vesper Plus expire 90 days after they are granted. Purchased Ask Stars credit packages expire 180 days after purchase unless a different period is shown before purchase or required by law.
10. Refunds and cancellation
Refunds and subscription cancellation are handled under the Refund and Subscription Cancellation Policy, the policies of the applicable app marketplace or payment provider, and applicable law. Vesper does not provide automatic prorated refunds for subscription cancellation or used digital content unless required by law, the applicable store or payment provider, or an approved support exception.
If you are located in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another place with a statutory withdrawal or cooling-off right, you may have a right to cancel certain distance purchases within a specified period. Where applicable, by purchasing Vesper Plus or Ask Stars credits and confirming the purchase terms, you expressly consent to immediate access to digital content or digital service access and acknowledge that you lose that statutory withdrawal or cooling-off right once the digital content or service access is made available or delivered, except where Google Play policy, an app marketplace policy, or mandatory law provides otherwise.
11. Account deletion
You may request account deletion in the app settings or through the Account deletion page. Account deletion removes or anonymizes account and chart-related data as described in the Privacy Policy, subject to records Vesper must keep for legal, tax, payment, fraud-prevention, support, or dispute-handling purposes.
Account deletion is separate from subscription cancellation and refund requests. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel any subscription purchased through Google Play, another app marketplace, or a payment provider, stop future renewal charges, or create a refund request.
12. Acceptable use
You may not misuse Vesper, interfere with the Service, scrape or reverse engineer restricted areas, attempt unauthorized access, submit unlawful content, harass others, infringe intellectual property, bypass payment controls, or use Vesper to make high-stakes decisions for yourself or another person.
13. Service changes and availability
Vesper may change, suspend, or discontinue features when needed for product development, security, maintenance, legal compliance, provider changes, or operational reasons. Vesper will make reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary disruption to paid access, but the Service may not always be uninterrupted or error-free.
14. Ownership
Vesper, its design, text, software, generated templates, branding, and related materials are owned by Vesper or its licensors. You may use Vesper only for personal, non-commercial purposes unless Vesper gives written permission.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, Vesper is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for decisions you make based on astrology, wellness, or AI-generated content. For all claims related to the Service, Vesper's aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to Vesper for the product or feature most directly related to the claim in the 12 months before the claim arose, or fifty U.S. dollars ($50.00), unless applicable consumer law requires a different result.
16. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vesper and Ohk Jeonghye from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without excluding mandatory consumer protections that may apply where you live. Subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply where you live, exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall lie with the competent court having jurisdiction over Vesper's registered business address in the Republic of Korea.
Vesper has not adopted a mandatory arbitration clause or class-action waiver in these English Terms. This does not limit either party's rights or defenses under applicable law.
18. Changes to these Terms
Vesper may update these Terms when the Service, payment methods, providers, laws, or operational practices change. Material changes will be announced in the Service or by another reasonable method. The updated Terms will apply from the effective date shown above unless applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
