1. Scope
This policy explains how subscription cancellation, Ask Stars credit purchases, refunds, and account deletion work for the English version of Vesper. It supplements the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
This policy is intended to describe the English refund and cancellation rules in one place. If mandatory consumer law where you live gives you additional cancellation, withdrawal, refund, digital content, or subscription remedies, those rights apply even if this policy says a refund or cancellation remedy is limited.
2. Payment channel
English paid products are currently offered through Google Play Billing. Vesper does not operate an English web checkout unless a Vesper purchase screen explicitly says so. If Vesper later supports another app marketplace, web checkout, or payment provider, the purchase screen and that provider's confirmation flow will identify the provider and any applicable billing, cancellation, refund, tax, and receipt rules. Vesper does not collect your full card number or complete payment method details when payment is processed by an app marketplace or payment provider.
3. Trials, introductory offers, and promotions
Free trials, introductory offers, discounts, and promotional prices apply only when they are shown before purchase. The Vesper purchase screen and applicable store or payment confirmation flow will show the offer period, price after the offer, billing period, automatic renewal terms, and how to cancel before a charge. If no trial or promotion is shown before purchase, the paid product starts under the price and billing terms shown at checkout.
4. Subscription renewal and cancellation
Vesper Plus subscriptions may renew automatically according to the billing period shown before purchase. You can cancel renewal through the app marketplace or payment provider where you purchased the subscription. For Google Play purchases, use Google Play subscription management.
Uninstalling or deleting the Vesper app from your device does not cancel your subscription. For Google Play purchases, you must cancel through Google Play subscription management before the next billing cycle if you want to stop future renewal charges.
Cancellation stops future renewal charges. It does not automatically refund the current paid period. You generally keep access until the end of the current billing period unless the applicable store policy, payment provider, or applicable law provides otherwise.

5. Ask Stars credits
Ask Stars credits are digital access rights for chart-based mini readings. They are not cash, stored value, gift cards, deposits, electronic money, or a general payment method. Credits cannot be transferred, resold, exchanged for cash, or used outside Vesper.
Credits included with Vesper Plus expire 90 days after grant. Purchased Ask Stars credit packages expire 180 days after purchase unless a different period is shown before purchase or required by law.
6. Refund requests
For Google Play purchases, you may request a refund through Google Play's refund tools or contact Vesper support at support@vesperstar.app. For purchases made through another app marketplace or payment provider, use that provider's refund path or contact Vesper support. The applicable store or payment provider may make the final refund decision for purchases it processes.
7. When refunds may be limited
Unless required by applicable law, the applicable store or payment provider policy, or an approved support exception, Vesper generally does not provide:
- Prorated or partial cash refunds for subscription time already purchased.
- Refunds for Ask Stars credits that have already been used to generate a reading.
- Refunds for subjective dissatisfaction with astrology, AI-generated content, tone, timing, or interpretation when the digital content was delivered as described.
- Cash conversion of expired, promotional, bonus, or included Ask Stars credits.
- Where applicable, by purchasing a subscription or Ask Stars credits through Google Play, you expressly consent to immediate access to the digital content or digital service access and acknowledge that you lose any statutory withdrawal or cooling-off right once the digital content or service access is made available or delivered, except where Google Play policy, an app marketplace policy, or mandatory law provides otherwise.
8. Support exceptions
Vesper may review support exceptions when a purchase was not delivered, an entitlement was not restored after verified payment, there is a major service failure, the content materially differs from what was shown before purchase, a duplicate charge appears, or applicable law requires a remedy. Vesper may request information needed to locate the store or payment provider order, verify account ownership, and investigate the issue.
9. Uninstalling the app and account deletion are separate
Uninstalling or deleting the Vesper app from your device, or deleting your Vesper account, does not cancel a subscription purchased through Google Play, another app marketplace, or a payment provider, stop future renewal charges, or automatically create a refund request. If you want to stop renewal, cancel through the store or payment provider where you purchased the subscription before deleting the app or your account. If you want a refund, request it through that store or payment provider, or contact Vesper support.
